Recently we were able to help a single Mom who’s daughter has Covid and she’s had to miss quite a bit of work. We were able to cover her mortgage and give her a little peace so she could focus on taking care of her family. We also were able to provide food cards to a man who had a stroke. He has not been able to work and it’s been hard to get the necessities for his family. We worked alongside a company in Homestead who provided a lot of assistance and we were happy to help to get food on the table for this month. We also have been donating snacks to a local church for a resource fair they are having where they are making sure families have back to school supplies, hair cuts, and food when those families are struggling in those areas. We’ve been able to help with snacks for the first responders at the site of the Surfside Condo collapse. Our Blessing bags went out to a local church as well to be given to the children taking vacation Bible school. We inserted a card in each blessing bag asking them to go out and do one good deed. Setting that habit at such a young age can do wonders for the future. We also were able to provide dinner for a week to a family who lost a loved one.
