I am saddened to report that our 2nd annual Run for the Roses will be canceled due to the coronavirus outbreak as the event is held at an assisted living and we can not take the chance of putting any senior citizens at risk. The Palace Gardens is taking all precautions and our group, Brightseasons, completely understands and supports this decision. We hope you will all join us next year! We had so many wonderful things planned for that night and now we have more time to make things even better for next year!
We WILL still be drawing for our 50/50 on April 23rd LIVE on Facebook, so keep buying those tickets to get a chance to walk away with some cash!
We WILL still be auctioning off 2 of our largest auction items through social media as well and will post pictures and information on how YOU can bid on these soon! We are so thankful to all of you who made this event sell out in such a short time!
We appreciate you so much and had every intention of showing you the best evening surrounded by great entertainment and great food. We appreciate your understanding. We are also so appreciative of all those who offered to donate their time and skills to make this event so beautiful. Designs by Darenda and Cindy Kendall both were so generous and we ask you to PLEASE support them and their business throughout the year as they each have a strong, kind heart for our community and give back generously.
We also want to thank Aj & Southern Stampede offered to provide our entertainment for the evening. So many people were looking forward to enjoying them that evening. PLEASE support them in their many adventures to come. They are another group of people with kind, giving hearts.
And to all my girls who worked so hard gathering amazing raffle prizes…we’ll just put all of them on hold until next year and offer the fundraiser of the YEAR!
*Although we did not collect too many admission fees yet, those who did pay will get a full refund immediately.
Thank you for supporting us and thank you for standing by while we all get through this season. We are so grateful for you all.
